Star Trek was a tv series that lasted from 1966 to 1969, but its legacy has endured. From other tv series to the movie franchise, Star Trek is beloved by millions.

The movies follow the Enterprise and its courageous crew through peril after peril, generation after generation. Captain James T. Kirk is captain of the starship Enterprise for the first six movies. He and his crew confront strange beings and new frontiers. The rest of the movies are helmed by Captain Jean-luc Picard. He and his crew also confront the strange and the perilous in our galaxy.
