Maybourne, you are an idiot every day of the week. Why couldn't you just take one day off?

In Foothold, there's strange goings on in the form of our beloved cast! There's pod!people takin' over! They take the forms of everyone from Jack to Daniel to Janet to Siler! And only Sam and Teal'c are able to withstand the might of the drugs that pod!Janet has pumped into all the SGC personnel. Incapacitated are those unfortunate enough not to have had a symbiote. I bet there's a goa'uld laughing somewhere about that.

Hark! Back to the story. Sam leaves the SGC in a desperate search for allies and senior officers who aren't pod!people. Oddly enough, help is found in the form of one Colonel Harry Maybourne (he who plays a slimeball really well <3).

She and Maybourne work together to thwart the ambiguously-evil'ish alien plot to take over the SGC. After all, if the SGC is at stake, the earth is at stake!

Where is Teal'c during all this? In restraints because the Aliens of The Week got wise!
And the real Jack, Daniel, Major Davis, General Hammond, and Janet? Hanging around, of course! In a rather pretty, purple'ish light, with each wearing very stylish head-gear.

What will Earth do without SG-1? What will Earth do with a Sam masquerading in a Daniel body? These questions are all answered (or rather posed) by this fantabulous episode. Certainly one of my most favorite of all SG-1 eps. :D
